Chalk it up to more writing material for my soon to be book, "I don't have a life, I have an adventure"............. Title - All within 5 minutes - 1. Ben(without my knowledge) unplugs the cable cord for the satellite. I think something is wrong with the satellite and call satellite man. After I answer multiple questions to an automated machine, satellite man comes on the line and continues to ask me if it is raining or windy. He actually started by asking me how the weather was. He asks me, "Is something blocking your satellite dish like a tree branch"? As I am staring out the window with blue skies and sunshine, I continue to insist nothing is blocking the dish and it is not raining nor hailing. As satellite man starts to tell me that he will set up for a technician to come out and check that all wires are hooked up, a light bulb goes off. What is the one cord Ben can get to? Behind the couches, the one cable. Barely undone, yet enough to turn off entire satel...

I have filled out my application for Weber State University and paid my application fee. This college is less than a block away from the base! They have one of the best Criminal Justice programs in the nation. My classes from my previous college will transfer over. And I can combine my love of computers and my talent of Criminal Justice with one degree. They have a Criminal Justice Degree specializing in Criminalistics. Included in that degree are the courses of Victimology and Investigation of Computer Crime. These are the two areas that I have always been interested in. The greatest thing about this degree is that, this is one of the few degrees offered completely on-line! This will make it much easier for me to finish the degree all the way through! And give me something to do at night when Ben goes to sleep, as opposed to watching re-runs on the DVR. ~ I will do anything to not think of how much I miss Dan......even go to school........ ;) ~ I am pretty excited to continue on the ...

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY! We had a day planned of wave pools and watermelon. Plans might have to change though to indoor movies and watermelon. Because, it is cold, windy, and raining at our house! At least we can kick off our summer with summer food right? I have everything to make a banana pudding trifle, turkey hot dogs, and a nice mini watermelon to cut up and eat! I just want to say how grateful we are for the men and women who have served and still serve our country. We are grateful for all of our freedoms and sacrifices that are made so we can have these freedoms. We support our troops! Miss you Daddy! Be safe and we will see you soon!!!!!

On Sunday.............our messy monkey cleans up to a handsome little stud. What a big boy!!!! Here he is ready to go to church with his Eggo in one hand and Elmo book in the other. :)

I have reached the second trimester!!!! Today I had my second "real" OB appt. I am now 14 weeks along. The baby is doing great! The Dr found her(or his) heart beat with the monitor right away. It was nice and strong. I had great blood pressure at 122/66. I did lose 4 pounds since the last visit. But that was not surprising with the recent food poisoning. Just trying to not lose anymore. (The only time in my life I will say that!) The biggest news.............. I scheduled the ultrasound to find out if it's a boy or girl!!!! The week of June 15th(same week my Grandma Sue is coming to visit) I will know, and I will shout it from the mountain top!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today is overcast, VERY windy, and 54'. But for most of this past week, it has been in the 80's, 90's or 100's'! When it is sunny............we take full advantage of it and head to the backyard for some fun. I LOVE this picture. He is talking to his egg sidewalk chalk. Earlier this morning, Ben had made quite the mess.......he got into my make up box. Got vaseline based lip gloss in his hair, on the carpet, drew on his face with eyeliner,and managed to spill black eyeshadow in the master bedroom carpet. I went upstairs to check on Ben after his nap time. And this is what I found him doing............. He might be a messy boy, but he's a helpful boy.............. "I didn't do it"

I am amazing! SUPERMOM! I put together a Children's picnic table. And it only took me...........drum roll............6 hours!!!!!! Okay, so I love IKEA. They have great prices because you put the furniture together yourself. But this table I bought for Ben had the screw holes lined up wrong, so the table was refusing to come together. After hours going by of me trying to put together this impossible task......I had to re-drill holes and make it work. And because I did it on my own,(exception of little man's help) I didn't lose my marbles, kept my patience, did not start crying, and made Ben a table that he can sit and eat at safely.........I am amazing! Yes, it was a great deal of only $19.99........and in the end it all came together. But I think our actual dining room table that we buy will be delivered and put together already! :) Next project on the list ~ Try and put together Ben's playground set! Our weather has taken a turn for the hotter. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to have some sunshine and not have snow during the month of May. But seriously.....100'?????? I feel like we went from Winter to Summer........ and just plain skipped Spring. Today when getting in the car to go home after church, our thermostat said it was 107'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT?!?! Well, we busted out the swimsuits yesterday for the first time this year! Our outdoor pools on base don't open until Memorial Day. So we headed off to the indoor pool.
