These past few months.......

Welcome to our crazy life! Our life continues to stay on fast forward. We are now settled at home. But there are a few reasons that this blog has gone un-touched for a month or two. I will sum it up for you as "quick" as I can. Pictures will come later. :O) A few days after super bowl, we got a phone call from San Diego. Grandma Sue was in renal failure and in the care of Hospice. We drove down the next day to be with her. After a week she came out of renal failure! She was transferred from the hospital to a convalescent home. Her health is still deteriorating. And she is not the same Grandma Sue. But, I am still grateful for any time we get to spend with her. After making sure that Grandma Sue was in good hands, we decided to head back home and on the way, make a stop in Arizona to visit with Grandpa Dennis(Dan's step dad) and Grandma Liz(Dan's Mom). Dennis had a chocolate lab who had Christmas puppies. All 8 puppies were black males! Dennis and Liz decided to give B...

Taking a temporary blogging hiatus

Aloha to you all - Our blog will temporarily be closing down for a summer break. :) You can still visit our site and view older posts, and comment to us. We just won't be posting any new posts unless there is HUGE news. So enjoy these pictures of our last days in Hawaii. Daddy and Ben dancing on the changing table. Ben looking spiffy in the outfit that Grandma Sue sent him! Spinach, shrimp, and pasta dinner makes Ben say YUMMM! Celebrating our last dinner at our own kitchen table with turkey hotdogs and root beer! Not sure what he was looking at, but he sure loved his black bean burritos! Nothing says summer time like this yummy meal with specially chilled diet root beer on the side. Cleaning out the old junk and getting ready for our big moving sale. LALALLALALAALAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! *The movers came yesterday and took mostly all of our stuff! So we are now focusing on getting us moved off the island, and back to the mainland. Moving day doesn't stop little man's diaper ...

Let's start off with ................... Daddy aka: Dan the man - *Dan is in his softball season with his Army unit. Ben and I go to cheer him on as team Gardner cheerleaders. Ben really likes softball night because it usually means it's hotdog night! Take us out to the ballgame! *Dan is also finishing up his spring semester and at the same time starting his summer semester! As usual my genius husband got A's and B's this past semester! Yah Dan! * For those of you that don't know Dan has decided to go to medical school. Thanks to the Army, his medical school, as well as the past schooling will be payed for by the military. He will apply to medical school next year when he is finishing up his bachelor's degree. Dr Dan....paging Dr Dan...... * His knee is doing great as well as the rest of his health! He is tip top condition right now. Now on to Mommy aka: Leah the domestic goddess - * Leah (like Dan) is finishing up her spring semester and starting up summer sch...

Still here

So the latest - you want it? Here it goes.... I have officially started up school this past week. I am taking 4 classes this semester totaling up to 12 units. Full time baby! I am taking Art, Philosophy, Math, and Intro to Mass Communications. Dan started up his classes a few weeks ago. He is taking Accounting, Biology, and a English class. We are both busy bees! My Friend Rachel and her sweet baby girl are visiting us for a few days. She is in limbo trying to fly back home to Okinawa. It has been a lot of fun having her and Nicole here! Ben has been sick. We are not sure if it is your typical flu bug, or if he just ate too much sand Saturday at the north shore. All I know is he is not feeling good! He threw up last night 10 times! We brought him to the ER at 3am. We wanted to make sure he was not too dehydrated. Because he was not even able to hold down his Pedialyte. So we continue to give him Pedialyte and cuddle him. We will keep you posted! Pictures of Ben and his flu bug = tired ...
