Ocean Grandma visits

Image
My Mom drove the 7 hour drive from San Diego to help out while Dan was gone. In past weeks I have been over doing it and ended up in Labor and delivery with pre term contractions. My Mom came and helped out for 4 days. She made sure the baby stayed in the oven. And I appreciated it so much.  I love this picture of Zach and my Mom.  She brought the delicious box of french doughnuts. She bought these at Disneyland back when we went in 2008! Delicious and surprisingly not expired. Isabella gets spoiled........... She found a deal on a "like new" bumbo for only 7.95!! Brand new at the store, these awesome seats can cost up to $40.00!  My Mom found Isabella's first ballet shoes at a little boutique in San Diego. Love them! I got spoiled too. My Mom watched the boys while I went and had some "me time". I got my eyebrows waxed and a pedicure. I didn't realize how much I needed some me time, until I returned home feeling like a brand new person. Thank you Momma...

Sundance and visit to Nana and Opa's

Image
At my Mom's suggestion and request, we headed up to Sundance. It was one of my favorite memories of my Mom's visit! Sadly, I forgot the digital camera. Thank goodness for our camera phone though! Ben was such a good little monkey. Everyone kept commenting on what a well behaved little man he was. Ben loves to snuggle with Ocean Grandma ~ Ben REALLY loved the cheese puffs ~ I highly recommend the Sundance buffet to any prego out there! It was a pregnancy craving dream come true! I don't remember the last time I was this relaxed. I love the mountains! The bubbling creek in the background that Ben wanted to jump in! I rested my feet while Grandma and Ben went and checked out an Art Studio. The last pictures before leaving Sundance. Ben was sad to leave because he wanted to stare at the water a little bit longer. He was happy though when he got to bring home a leaf. Whewww was I full?!?! After Sundance, we drove up the road to visit Nana and Opa! Benjamin loves visiting...

Witchapalooza

Image
WITCHAPALOOZA! My Mom bought matching orange boas for the two of us. We had such a fun time. My Mom cackled for coupons to the local boutiques. We shopped at the cute stores. And Ben was able to wear his penguin costume out in public for the first time! Grandma Reva and penguin Ben goofing around ~ All of the witches dancing to music in the center of the village. "Thriller" by Michael Jackson was playing in this picture. My Mom and I decided that she and I are going to do this next year as a ladies night; minus my prego tummy! Momma and Benji the penguin ~ The cutest penguin you have ever seen. I can't tell you how many times we were stopped for someone to say how adorable Ben was. :) Witchapalooza rules! Ben loved sitting on every hay stack we passed. By the end of our busy day(OB appt, Olive Garden, Labor and delivery tour, and Witchapalooza), my feet were quite swollen and we had to get a ride from a golf cart ride back to the car due to some contractions. Sorry ...

Olive Garden, 37 week appointment, and Labor and Delivery tour

Image
I had my second to last OB appointment this past Friday! Everything is looking good. C-Section is scheduled for November 12th at 7:30am! And even though I feel like a house, my Blood pressure was looking fantastic at 100/70. And I have gained 19 pounds with Zach's pregnancy. After the appointment we headed to Olive Garden for a delicious dinner! YUMMY! Then we headed off to the Labor and Delivery tour. It felt odd not having Dan there with me through out the tour. But, I am so grateful that my Momma was there as my support buddy. And Dan will be here for the main event!!!! :)

Corn Belly's Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

Image
After Cracker Barrel, we headed to Corn belly's corn maze and pumpkin patch. At first Ben was cold and just wanted to ride in his wagon. This Hawaiian born boy was not so sure about the cold weather. But then he warmed up as he met a pumpkin princess and received some candy. He rode a cow ride all by himself. It was pulled by a tractor and took him around the pumpkin patch and corn fields. The whole ride he was chatting it up with the boy sitting in front of him. An actual pumpkin launcher! Because of how loud it was, Ben said, "FIREWORKS!" An actual John Deere tractor pulled our hayride! YEE HAW! Festive Grandma Reva on the hayride. At first Ben was not enjoying the hayride. I can't blame him. Sitting on my prego lap can not be comfortable. I was also pretty unstable. In this picture, I was feeling like I was about to topple over. Some of the potholes in the pumpkin patch were not pregnant lady friendly. Grandma Reva saved the day. She warmed up his hands and...
