THE TRAVELING GARDNERS

I love my little men. They have so much energy. I took them to the side of our house and let them race each other and play in the grass. Dan was in the house hanging pictures on the walls. They needed to get out some energy. But, I was not feeling well enough to walk them to the park. It had been raining non stop for a few weeks prior to this day. The sun finally came out long enough to dry the grass. I love having our SLR camera lens fixed. These are the memories I want to take pictures of and always remember. These boys are growing up too fast.

We don't have a perfect life. The boys fight from time to time. But, I sure do love the sweet moments. For the most part, Ben and Zach really enjoy playing together. I caught a few of these sweet moments on camera. Here are a few "every day life" pictures from our home. The next Jonas brothers? Partridge family? Osmond's? I walked in the room to find Ben playing the drums, Zach playing the piano part of the xylophone, and Dan playing his guitar. Point a camera at Zach, and he will give you the cheesiest smile. I love it! I love to dress them in matching outfits as often as possible. :) This was a Saturday pj kind of day. Usually Ben has to keep his big toys upstairs. On this day the entire living room floor was covered with his race track carpet and hot wheels cars. Zach in his Chargers gear. Ben can't wait to go splash in some rain puddles. Zach in his Sunday best. This was great. We were dressed in Hawaiian attire for a church Luau. Then afterwards we went...

Ben was over the moon to use one of his Christmas presents for the first time. (Transformers fake shaving kit) He kept saying, "I'm a big boy like Daddy!"

I couldn't resist getting this Santa outfit when finding it half off on the clearance rack a few weeks ago. It's so comfy, Ben loves wearing it to bed. Our tree is bare in certain areas because Ben loves to take the ornaments off and re-decorate the tree every day.....5 times a day..... Ben loves to look out at the snow.

Santa: "What do you want for Christmas Ben?" Ben: "I want a wattlesnake." Zach: Zzzzzzzzzzzz Santa: "You want a red snake?" Zach: Zzzzzzzzzzzzz Ben: "No, I want a wattlesnake!" Leah: " I think he said rattlesnake." Santa: "Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas. Have a candy candy cane." ~ Yesterday, Ben wanted a turtle from Santa. Today it was a snake. ~ I have been working on teaching Ben his letters of the alphabet. Last night during bathtime, he was playing with his foam letters in the bath tub. I was telling him that S is for snake. That is the only explanation I can think of him wanting a snake for Christmas?

A huge snow storm hit us yesterday. It was 22' in the day time and 19' at night. But no need to fear! We are prepared for this cold front..... Thanks to Great Grandma Sue - Zachy is a warm, bundled, little snow bunny. The first "caught on camera" smile ~ Zachary ~ 4 weeks and 3 days old ~ Benji got a new snow outift and snow boots last night. He loved them so much he wanted to sleep in the snow suit!

Our adorable little men melt my heart ~ Now wave your hands in the air.......... Mr Innocent Seriously, are we done? Do I get my bottle yet? "Ben, if you say cheese I will give you a candy cane......" As Zach would fuss over the Santa hat in his face, Ben would rub his belly and say, "It's okay Baby Zach, it's okay." Easily distracted - I love this candid shot of Ben playing with Zach's santa hat. He kept rubbing Zach's santa hat and saying it tickled. "Uh oh Mommy, Baby Zach's hat is falling. It's okay, I fix it. " "Please Mom, don't let him drop me."
