Uncle Gary and Uncle Pete spoiled Ben with birthday money. With part of his money, we started up his own bank account. With the other part, Ben was able to pick out his very first big boy bike!!! With Dan having ankle surgery, our camping plans were put on hold. We have enjoyed our fair share of pool and other outdoor adventures. But when the temps hit over 100' and Dan needed recovery time, or quiet house for homework, I took the boys to the movies. We have also discovered a rare Drive In Movie theatre that is still open here in Utah! The night before Dan's surgery, we got a babysitter and headed to the movies! We saw the latest in the Harry Potter movies. The Half Blood Prince was one of our favorites! July 15 th , 2009 - cell phone pics One hot afternoon I took Ben(his movie choice) and Zach to see G-Force. Totally cute movie. I love anything to do with secret agents. And Ben was in heaven with talking guinea pigs! - Ben has been such a big help with Dan's recovery. I decided he needed to have a special day. Before the movie, we window shopped at Toys R Us. Cross it off my list, "40 things to do before I am 40!" I have always wanted to go blonde once in my life. I figured....why not now? The camera is still in the shop. So, I had to temporarily use my cell phone to record these blonde memories. :) Driving home....feeling sassy......... Later on that night trying to get a closer pic of the hair. Did not succeed as my cell camera stinks! So a few days later, as I washed my hair, and let it dry on it's own....I felt like it looked yellow....with a slight glow of orange! I guess I have too many natural red highlights! So, I am attempting one more time to finish the blonde transformation the second week of September. If it does not take this time......I am going back to brunette!
