Two date nights in one week! We are so lucky! Dan's boss from work graduated with her masters yesterday! We were invited to celebrate the night away. So thanks to all of the box office blockbusters in theatres this summer, Dan and I will not have a shortage of ideas for date night! Now that Benjamin has become a well adjusted toddler and doesn't even cry when we leave him.....Dan and I are embracing this with....... date night once a week! And guess what? This week is twice a week!! Here are some pictures from our first real date night last Friday. We went and saw Fantastic Four 2!!!! Dan loved it more than the first one. I personally felt that the wedding scene was cut too short. But then again I'm a girl...;) No really the movie rocked my boat! We LOVE super hero movies!! Tonight we went and saw Spider man 3! Yah for date night!!!

Father's Day at the Gardner Home - While mommy did this...... The boys did this.......... Daddy and Ben napping time Ben cracks up laughing when Dan pretends to smell his feet and say PEEEEWWWUU STINKY! Tickle monster!!! Quick smile! Ben coming to check and see if the food is ready or not..... Mommy eating...I mean making the french toast kabobs.... Ben likes it so much he starts early......and yes, he soaked his shirt with juice..... The final picture before we ate the yumminess.....notice the boogie board in the background was one of Dan's Father's day present. My original plan was to serve breakfast in bed to him with the boogie board as the tray. But Dan woke up before me......so it ended up as a table decoration. Thank you Martha for this great idea! After church, we came home and had some yummy dinner....

Benjamin melts our heart everytime we look at him. He gets cuter every day. Here are some pictures from the past month of our little man........... Just an example of Ben attempting to climb from walker to chair. Not happening because mommy has piled her folders on the chair. Pushing his car to the mechanic. Pulling his car to the mechanic. Working on his car at the mechanic. Riding backwards is more fun. WEEEEE no feet! Dan said that Benjamin is due for a hair cut because the back of his hair is starting to curl up....... One way to get down off the walker...... Ignore the boogies on Ben's nose, we were sick with a cold....... Playtime with a bib on. Learning to put the ring around the stand. He concentrates so hard when he is learning something new. He is one focused little dude. Daddy shares his Cub's hat with him along with a very old baseball! Judy check out his 3T outfit you sent.
