It's not a road trip without a stop to...................

We made it to Phoenix! Gary and Pete always make us feel so welcome. We are so grateful to be living so close to them right now. Going to their house is one of our favorite memories this summer.
Uncle Gary and Pete have been together 35 years....and they still have fun together! As my Mom said, that is something to admire and strive for.

The boys love their Uncle Pete. He was playing horses with them while they took a break from the pool. He was so patient with them even though he was in a lot of pain from his ankle injury. We hope his surgery takes away his pain!

Uncle Gary returned home Sunday afternoon after going to his choir retreat. We are so proud of him for singing in the choir! He just did a show with Margaret Cho!

It was 110' this weekend we visited Phoenix. So, when we were not eating yummy food, we were swimming and floating in the pool! And a wonderful surprise to the weekend...... Zach and Ben both went the whole weekend without breaking out in a rash from the sun! We found a sunscreen that has added UV protection!

Wrigley's first time in a pool

Ben loved it when Dan threw him rocket style across the pool.

Daddy and Zach looking so handsome

Our tiny puppy is not so tiny anymore. Wrigley was loving Gary and Pete's backyard.

A bonus to visiting Gary and Pete was hanging out with my Mom who drove up from Cali. Gary and Pete were so nice to let my Mom stay with them while she did her internship.
We met up with my Mom during one of her lunch breaks. We met at a pizza place across the street from the baseball field in downtown Phoenix.
