A day at the park
Columbus Day continued........
We just recently discovered this fantastic park. A huge playground for the boys in one area. A sun shade over the playground equipment. A big grassy area to run around and fly kites at. And to top it off.........a huge fenced off area doggy park!
So Saturday morning we watched Ben play some soccer. And Saturday evening we headed to the park for a great end to a day.
When first arriving Wrigley was pulling like a sled dog to play at the park. Dan had to use the leash behind the tush technique to prevent losing an arm. Wrigley is one strong puppy!

Zach has no fear. He climbed right up those steps. I couldn't help but think how small he was compared to those tall steps.
I was so proud of Ben. He jumped right on the rock climbing wall and climbed right up to the top. Now granted, it was not very high up. But he did it. Ben is usually our cautious one. He is slowly becoming braver as each day goes by.

Still learning the art of swinging.

The Gardner guys meeting at the local watering hole.
The greatest idea in my opinion. With the heat of Arizona, a doggy water fountain is a necessity!
Ben thinks he is a hoot spraying his little brother with water.

This is a great picture of Ben having fun in the sand pit by the swings. He got a little carried away and threw sand at the dog. This lead to a time out on the near by bench. He's working on not throwing sand at people or animals. Even though this picture reminds me of sand in my mouth, and time outs......I still love this picture.
I always get a big smile on my face when Ben helps his brother do something good. He loves Zach so much. But with that love, comes the teaching of climbing shelves and jumping off couches. They are double trouble. But, don't they look so innocent here? wink wink
