Christmas Eve and Christmas 07

CHRISTMAS EVE 2007

Christmas Eve we had planned our traditional Italian feast dinner. Benjamin's stomach had other plans. That night about 30 minutes before family was supposed to start arriving, Ben started throwing up. Little did we know this was the beginning of the roto virus.

Here he is drinking jello water. He had gotten sick a little before this. But, we still gave him his traditional Christmas Eve pj's. Okay forget the Jello water, it's present time. Daddy helping Ben get his pj's on. The only picture we got on Christmas Eve. I have no make up on, and Dan and I were both feeling gross after Benjamin's sick time. But we still smiled for a picture. :) Not really feeling in the picture mood Playing with some ornaments After he started feeling a little better. I took a few pictures of him by the tree.

Daddy reading Ben The Christmas story and The night before Christmas. CHRISTMAS MORNING One of our ornaments from Hawaii Benjamin's first Christmas ornament The stockings stuffed with care Ben ready to run down the hall and open presents Ben still wasn't feeling that well. He sat on each of our laps opening presents. He ripped off one piece at a time...... Happy boy with a set of people from Play Town He also got the set of Elmo and Grover in the Play Town set. Wrapping paper flying off as he opened the books from Aunt Brenda! As he tore off one piece of paper at a time, he would give each tiny piece to Dan. A book from Santa Daddy got a ESPN baseball game to take with him on his deployment. A Christmas book for Ben Daddy also got the Transformers movie Ben helping Mommy open her present Whopppppeeeee, I got the 5th Harry Potter movie! Ben went straight for the bigger present........ Paper was flying...it was Christmas madness
Trying to get his truck out of the box Daddy had bought this for him back in San Diego months before. This was a special present from Daddy. He drove Elmo and Grover around all morning Setting up Maria and Grover on the construction truck Typical 1 year old...enjoying the boxes and paper more than the presents.....

A little bit later we were packing up the car to head to Nana and Opa's up the mountain. Ben HAD to have his new truck with him while we drove.
