Diamond Head Crater
Monday July 3rd - Diamond Head Crater Climb
Come and take a little hike with us to Diamond Head Crater!!!! Get your sunscreen ready when taking this hike! The Hawaiian hot sun really got to us! The total time of the hike was 1 HR and 30 minutes. There were 271 stairs to climb. And no baby strollers were allowed. We did not know this prior to coming. So Dan carried Ben on his shoulders the whole time!!!! Enjoy the pictures of our adventure......

Hellllloooo down there - do you see the windy path from where we came from?????
We passed a bunch of middle school kids that were on a field trip - I told Dan after they passed, " I forgot how junior high smelled!" ;) They look like ants from this picture.

Taking a Kodak moment break off the windy path - (Look Grandma Sue - Ben is wearing the size 6 sesame street sandals and 2T tank top you sent him! And yes Grandma Reva as always he is in those fabulous jean shorts you sent - they go with everything!) :)
Yes, they really were as steep as they look!

YAH! We made it!!!!!

Dan eating yummy shaved ice (strawberry and passion fruit flavor) on the drive home
After hiking an hour and a half in the Hawaii summer heat - yah this red face totally deserved this Pina Colada smoothie! Ben really loved this too - he drank half of it!!!
