Countdown to the mainland
Thanks to the Army we will be going on an all paid for marriage retreat to this beautiful hotel!!! We are so excited! Ben is going to a babysitter for the weekend, and we are escaping! Dan and I really never got a "real" honeymoon so we are pretty excited to be going to this! We will be turning off our cell phones this weekend. So that's the reasons our phones will be off this weekend. Happy summer! And here's to getting spoiled!

And this is our list of what we want to try and still do before we leave the island! It's a hard life but someone has to do it.........
*Waikiki Aquarium (we think Ben will LOVE this!)
*Chuns reef (you can walk right up to 300 pd seas turtles!)
*Buddhist temple on the north shore
* Hike to a waterfall (either Waimea falls or Manoa falls)
These are a few places that we have not been to yet. Any other suggestions for where we can play tourist at?
And this is the hotel where we will be at the last couple of days while on the island. It looks as though we have saved the best of Hawaii for last!

if you have to skip anything, skip the aquarium. sure, he'd love it, but we were pretty disappointed with it, having grown up by scripps-birch. it's teeny! i miss the honolulu zoo, though.
