An update on sweet Benjamin

Believe it or not but, Benjamin will be 1 years old in a month and a half! He is very active through out the day. He either crawls around, or walks while holding on to furniture to get around the house. He loves playing with his walker that my Mom got him. He loves knocking over his blocks that Grandma Liz and Rob got him for Christmas. He is able to say ma ma, da da and (don't laugh) boob, oh yeah...and we think that he said hot dog the other day? And he sometimes he is able to say ba ba. He is able to stand in one place without holding on to anything for 15 seconds. He is eating part Gerber Graduate foods, and part stage 3 foods. He chews really well. He now has 8 teeth! He is still working on mastering the sippy cup. He enjoys watching it spill on to our floor and in his high chair, more than drinking it. So with the water loving comes bath time! He LOVES bath time! He also loves Cheerios as of a few weeks ago. And last but not least, his hair is getting longer each day. We are still not quite sure what color is will end up being? Right now it seems to be getting blonder each day. One thing is for sure - we are starting to see curls. We are not surprised since both Dan and I have curly hair. Dan always cuts his hair so short so you can never see it. And, I try and straighten my hair so it doesn't frizz out in this humid weather on the island. Enjoy the Benji!

These are pictures of his first eating of diced up pears. Most of the time he seems to like them. Diced Carrots are going to take some time though.
