Benjamin meet Santa...Santa Ben...

Yesterday we went to the Fort Shafter library.(Library on an army base) We often go there to check out books. But, yesterday was a special day. Ben was able to meet Santa for the very first time. We were also able to make a arts and craft projects. It was a fun time, and a nice break from school and homework.
Getting ready at the house to go see Santa. Grandma Sue sent this Thomas the train outfit for Ben, just for his Santa visit! Thank you Great Grandma Sue! And look at those cute white high tops! Ben is trying to un-tie them.
When we got to the library where Santa was at, Ben was asleep. We let him sleep since he hasn't been sleeping very much(because of his teething). This gave Mommy and Daddy time to do an arts and crafts project.
Daddy doing some serious thinking about his Snowman bag. ;)
Dady helping Ben stand up. - Ben is awake! And ready to go meet Santa!
Mommy putting the last snow flake touches on the craft project.

Santa took off his hat, and bribed Ben with a candy cane so he wouldn't be scared of him. The end result? No crying, and one curious little boy!
Santa was very friendly at the Fort Shafter library. Ben just knew he wasn't going to let anyone have his candy cane. Ben looking at Santa's beard, wondering how he can pull it.
Ben telling Santa what he wants for Christmas.....see the candy cane in his hand. He would not let that go.
