Mother's Day

I got spoiled!
Mother's Day started a few weeks early for me. My Mom in Law Liz sent an early baby shower/Mother's Day gift....or should I say gifts........

New crib and changing table in white. An adorable giraffe print diaper bag. And two super soft  pink blankets! I am still smiling.

Dan was SO excited about the furniture. He put it together right away.
 The boys got their tools and helped Daddy out.

Mother's Day morning
Ben was so excited to give me my present!
 Dan made a yummy egg breakfast for me. And then we opened presents and cards before heading to church.
 Yah! A super soft pink robe with my name monogrammed on the front. And matching pink spa slippers with the letter L monogrammed. Perfect for the up-coming hospital stay!!!!

Dan made my favorite dinner dish of chicken divan. And it was yummy!!!!
Thanks to Dan, this was such a relaxing weekend. He would not let me change a diaper all weekend. And every time I started to clean, he made me stop and enjoy my Mother's Day weekend. I could not have asked for a more perfect Mommy's Day.

So glad you had a great Mothers Day! You deserve it! I want a pink robe with my name on it!! haha I also have a little something for baby Isabella I need to send to you. Hopefully I can get on that soon! Glad to see your updates. Miss you!

I guess I jinxed myself with the second to last post. I was bragging on how "easy" this pregnancy has been. Well, the good news is that I have yet to lose my lunch, breakfast, or any meal with this baby. The bad news is that I have been losing a lot of blood and having sharp pains in my belly. This was day 4 of those same symptoms, and I decided to head to a DR to make sure everything was okay. The great news is that I saw the baby's heartbeat for the first time and it was strong! And the cervix looks perfect. Also, I went to one of the best OB Women's health centers in the west. The Mary Birch Women and Baby center is amazing! Their staff was wonderful! I was treated by a perionatologist (Dr who deals with high risk pregnancies) who just "happened" to be on staff that day. I felt very reassured after leaving that I had received the best treatment possible. (Shauna - I thought of you the whole time) I realized how blessed I am to always have such great Dr...
